Dr. Taylor Heacock , MD
Dr. Taylor Heacock is originally from Macon, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Amherst College in Amherst, MA. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Heacock obtained her medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA, where she graduated cum laude and discovered her passion for women’s health.
This passion took her to Houston,TX where she completed her residency in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Texas at Houston, McGovern Medical School. During her training in Houston, she enjoyed serving people from all backgrounds and honing her approach to inclusive and compassionate care.
Dr. Heacock has special interests in contraception counseling, obstetric care, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is dedicated to supporting individuals through their unique health journeys.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Heacock enjoys spending time with her husband and family, exploring new cuisines through cooking, traveling to new destinations, practicing yoga, and playing tennis.
