Margaret Ann McElveen, CNM, MSN
Margaret Ann is a native of Marietta, Georgia. She attended Emory University for her undergraduate education, where she studied nursing and graduated in 2013. It was during her time at Emory that Margaret Ann developed an interest in maternal and newborn health, learned about the role of midwifery care, and began dreaming about becoming a midwife. Throughout her nursing career, she worked as a labor and delivery nurse on multiple maternity units around Atlanta, including Northside Hospital, which further solidified her desire to pursue midwifery. Margaret Ann obtained a Master’s in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in 2021. She is passionate about providing safe, compassionate, and personalized care to women and their families during pregnancy, birth, and beyond. In her spare time, Margaret Ann enjoys spending time with her husband, Creighton, and their family and friends. She also loves hiking with her Australian Shepherd, traveling the world, and cozying up in a coffee shop with a friend or a good book.
