Kortney Rogers , CNM, MSN

Kortney Rogers is originally from Ohio, but has lived in many states around the U.S. and even spent a few years of her childhood in Poland. Kortney graduated with her Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2013. From there, she moved to Louisiana and spent her first year of nursing working on a surgical floor at the hospital. After that, she moved into the specialty she always knew she wanted: Labor and Delivery. She completely fell in love with midwifery working as a labor and delivery nurse at a small hospital, watching a group of midwives nurture and be present for women in all stages of pregnancy, but especially during childbirth. Kortney moved to Georgia to pursue her Master’s in Nursing at Emory University specializing in Midwifery. She worked at Northside Hospital for several years as a nurse until she graduated with her degree in 2018. Kortney has been practicing midwifery since then, passionate about autonomy, holistic care, and helping women have a birth experience they can cherish. She always really enjoys gynecological care, with a special interest in infertility and adolescents.

Kortney has soon-to-be two young children with her husband, Will. She enjoys spending her time off with her family, game night, and going to Saints’ games whenever possible.
