Demetria Aaron, MD
Dr. Aaron is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Aaron was born and raised in Macon, Georgia. She is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana, earning a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry. She was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy Reserves while attending Morehouse School of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree. She began her active duty career as a resident at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia. After completing her residency training, she joined the medical staff at the Naval Hospital in Naples, Italy as a staff physician. She later transferred to Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune and served as chair of the Perinatal Advisory Board.
Dr. Aaron was a part of the medical team aboard the USNS Comfort in support of Continuing Promise in 2011 and was a Women’s Health Subject Matter Expert for Pacific Partnership in 2014. Dr. Aaron continues to serve in the US Navy Reserves. She is an avid photographer who enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, and shopping.
