Roswell OB/GYN Childbirth Essentials Class
This one-day class is intended to provide expectant parents with a better understanding of the birth process. Learning what to expect when you are in labor is just as important as learning what to expect when you are expecting. Childbirth preparation teaches you how to determine when you are in labor and what to do next. This class is focused on helping couples to enter into childbirth more relaxed, confident and empowered.
This class is for all Roswell OBGYN patients, regardless of whether you are planning a midwife or doctor delivery. All of your birthing options will be discussed, including what to expect during the labor, delivery and postpartum periods. All of our classes are led by one of our Certified Nurse Midwives. We feel that learning the essentials of childbirth practices and hospital policies from a practitioner who delivers babies with this practice is the best way to get the most relevant, accurate and applicable information.
During each class, there will be a question-and-answer session with a local pediatrician, as well as a short presentation about cord blood banking.

Tuition fee per couple is $100. We can accept Venmo, PayPal and Zelle. The class instructor will contact you a week prior to class to organize payment. An education booklet will be given to each couple. Lunch will be provided by the cord blood banking representative.
Due to variation of class size, socially distancing cannot be promised. To respect couples who would still like to practice social distancing or couples that cannot attend the scheduled LIVE class, we offer a RECORDED ZOOM class hosted by one of our Certified Nurse Midwives. RECORDED ZOOM PRESENTATION
To respect couples who would still like to practice social distancing or couples that cannot attend the scheduled LIVE class, we will be offering a RECORDED ZOOM class hosted by one of our Certified Nurse Midwives. This will be a one-day abbreviated class (from our traditional class) to provide expectant parents with better understanding of the birth process. This class is for all Roswell OBGYN patients regardless if you are planning a midwife or doctor delivery. We will be focusing on early labor, Labor and Delivery, pain management and postpartum issues. We will also have a local pediatrician as well as a short presentation about cord blood banking.
Once payment is received, the ZOOM presentation will be sent to you and a booklet will be provided. We accept PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle for payment.
