Christian Bohnstedt, MSN, FNP-C
Christian is originally from Cheraw, South Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree from Presbyterian College where she majored in Biology. She then spent a year working as an EMT for Grady Hospital, in Atlanta, before attending nursing school at Armstrong State University in Savannah. Christian began her nursing career at Northside Hospital, spending five years in cardiac and critical care medicine. While working as an RN, she studied at the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) to obtain her Master’s of Science in Nursing and is now a certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Through clinical experiences and encounters with specific obstetric and gynecological patients requiring critical care, Christian felt called to the field of Women’s Health. She feels both excited and privileged to have the opportunity to take care of women throughout the lifespan of their healthcare journeys. She works to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to each of her patients, whether it be an adolescent in her first women’s health encounter or a woman entering menopause, and every adventure and transition in between.
Christian and her husband, Dane, share one son, Whit, a dog, Lola, and two cats, Oyster and Millie. They also have an adopted sheep, Woolfred, who resides in Ireland. In her free time, Christian enjoys playing tennis, attending any live sporting event, reading, being out on the water, and baking.
