Melissa Parker, MD, FACOG

Melissa C. Parker, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN serving patients at Roswell ObGyn, LLC, with offices in Canton, Alpharetta, and Atlanta, Georgia. 

Dr. Parker obtained her undergraduate degree at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, her medical degree at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and completed residency training at Emory University’s department of obstetrics and gynecology. She is also a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Parker joined Roswell ObGyn, LLC in 1999 and has created a plethora of beautiful relationships over the years with amazing women of all ages. In 2022, she made the difficult decision to stop obstetrics. However, Dr. Parker is continuing with her gynecology practice. 

She provides annual gynecology checkups and works with you on concerns regarding your menstrual cycle, hormonal balance, pelvic and vaginal concerns, PCOS, sexual dysfunction, PMDD, fatigue, etc. 

Dr. Parker is also happy to counsel you regarding the best birth control, from non-hormonal to hormonal options, including IUD insertions and removals. In addition, if applicable, she is available to discuss and initiate a plan for hormone replacement therapy that can include oral and transdermal options such as patches, creams /gels, and testosterone pellets.

Although she's not delivering babies anymore, Dr. Parker still enjoys assisting women with preconception counseling as well as counseling and testing for recurrent pregnancy loss. Once pregnant, she can refer you to one of her many amazing partners or midwives!

When not working, Dr. Parker loves spending time with children, family, boyfriend, friends, dog, and herself. She enjoys quiet time, going to the gym, hiking, skiing, sporting clays, and fly fishing in the beautiful rivers in Montana.
